Case study #10 The Battle for Chile was won through the Cultural War that still rages.

The Battle of Arts and Humanities. Archive 2016-2019. Articles, statements, and documents around an academic research policy (2020).

The editors open with the gendered neutral Doctoradxs, who are simultaneously Excluidxs, and show their manufactured dissent as a byproduct of Marx's contradictory circularity in full motion in 21C Chile. In the 2016-2019 maelstrom of Chile's Feminist Rebellion, Secondary School Student Civil Disobedience, and the accumulative Urban Insurrection, the articles, statements, and documents in this publication were gathered. This 2020 written attack from within, on, and with the Cultural Capital of David Harvey's accumulative dispossession of Chilean University Education. It isn't ironic, it's Gramsci 101 as a full degree and postgraduate study. The unprecedented number of university students taught by these academics were born in the return to democracy of 1990. 70% of the student places are for the first-in-the-family member to enter higher learning and 60% of the poorest students are on full scholarships. This 30-year continuation of neo-liberal economics education is likely to be killed by what has been recently called Communist Neo-Liberalism. The current government doesn't recognize that the Wall fell in 1989 and our current, extorted draft Constitution levels Chile with Chad in terms of the human right to Civil Disobedience (read violent revolution) and other such liberties like those of memory and protest while replacing the old protected democracy with a new form.
This portentous Academic publication is a hymn book, a Laurie Anderson (Walking and Falling) Academic Victory March for the never graduated law student, former university student leader, youngest President of the Republic of Chile, Gabriel Boric, and his Constitutional Circus's tribal Plurinationalism. The Left might have won the Arts and Humanities battle but for any rational person, we are still at the height of a Cold Cultural War.
The decisive battle for Chile is on September 4, 2022. The people, and not El Pueblo, will vote in a mandatory voting election for or against the new Constitution. It's not looking good for the Ring Master.
