Case study #13 A Marxist Semana Santa. Left Mecca of Solidarity is refounded.






I was wrong. There was a new Traditional Protest of the Left in Plaza Baquedano on Good Friday, but this was purely artistic.

Semana Santa (the week of Easter) was a 7 day Marxist religious ceremony that managed to merge ANTIFA’s new Constitution in Chile with the struggle against the Zionist Conspiracy. Global Left-Wing Solidarity has found its new home and it’s a hole in the ground called Ground Zero.
Daniel Jadue was in Venezuela during Semana Santa, embracing his Marxist God's son, President Maduro. They both exposed the State Terrorism of 30 years of Democracy in Chile by comparison to Venezuela's declaration of the Human RIght to the lowest common denominator of poverty of thought.
Daniel Jadue is the Communist Mayor of Recoleta (Santiago) and was the other Presidential candidate in President Gabriel Boric’s coalition of former University Student Protest Leaders and the Chilean Communist Party: Apruebo Dignidad. El Pueblo chose the Student Protest Leader above Stalinist Jadue who was even too hot for them to embrace as the leader of this new majority-minority government.
Despite the bad faith insinuations, progressive Chilean Jews couldn’t support Daniel Jadue's presidential bid. Not because he is a communist, but because he is an unrepentant antisemite.
Chile is believed to have the largest Palestinian population outside of the Arab World. “The earliest Palestinian migrants came in the 1850s during the Crimean War, fleeing due to Russia's intent to capture and control the Holy Land. In Chile, this generation worked mainly as businessmen and also in agriculture. Other migrants arrived before and during World War I and later the 1948 Palestine war. Most of these early migrants were Christians”.
Jadue is of Palestinian descent.
The emptied plinth of the Monument to General Baquedano, Plaza Baquedano was given a special Marxist Christian Good Friday make-over while Jadue was in Venezuela proposing a radical make-over of the Chilean Left. The emptied plinth as a beautiful ruin for the Left, is in the epicentre of the decimated Ground Zero and is now painted in the Palestinian Flag-all over. This replaces the earlier make-over by 8M Feminist Rebellion of Balaclavas and Lipstick and before that the call for the release of “political prisoners” that lead to a public debate about and Amnesty for criminals as political prisoners of their own twisted thoughts.
This is how you destroy public space with art activism and no one can object. Rather, you have to applaud, otherwise, you are a Zionist, Neoliberal fascist. El violador eres tu (The rapist is you) as Lastesis would sing it.

Case Study # 26 War is Over. A sobering thought for arts activists anonymous.

In 21C, I find myself in a situation of Fluxus after the full rehearsal dressed in Yoko's and Monica’s female attire, adorned by scissors (1964) followed by Presidential semen stains (1997). In 2015, I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney to touched one of Ono’s framed breasts because “War Was Over” if I wanted it to be. It didn’t say which breast to touch or which war was over while the longest US war in history raged in Afghanistan and then was lost, abandoned to pre-modern history in 2021. An Afghan rug with the twin towers was exhibited in a contemprary art magazine for the silently salivating Leftovers, post 1989, still Left after Monica’s dress sold for 2 million at auction in 2001, an odyssey of some type, coinciding with the second 9/11. Case study #12 A Good Friday for the religion called Marxism. Material History

Since President Boric was elected in December 2021, this Friday was one of only three Fridays during which the traditional, now habitual, violence, destruction, assault, looting, and arson did not occur in Plaza Baquedano. It was a Good Friday for Marxism. The other two Marxist observed Fridays were Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
