Case study #14 The Emperor's New Clothes as Streetwear.





A brief walk around Ground Zero, Santiago de Chile this Easter Weekend 2022 illustrates President Boric's new public policy to identify New Sites of New Memory. This heritage and public space policy is supported by leading curators, academics, historians, and other journalists. Sebastian Gray, the former President of the National College of Architects 2013-2015 and former President of the National Council of Arts and Culture 2015-2019 said in an opinion Tweet in 2020 that the former President Sebastian Piñera should have been taken to the guillotine in a public square. Francisco Brugnoli, the current Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art situated on the perimeter of Ground Zero, said in 2021 in a media commentary that the destruction of Plaza Baquedano was a "Community Action".

The College of Architects headquarters is located in the early 20C building designed by Chile's Gaudí - Lucian Kulczewski (1896-1972). The building, situated in Alameda, Ground Zero, is still boarded up with sheet metal and covered in graffiti professing the righteousness of the violence and destruction of the urban insurrection, under the Constitutional Circus's new Plurinational Black Flag. On the other side of the main avenue, Alameda, is the fully protected, welded sheet metal walled, Crown Hotel and Commercial Complex. The building complex was closed as a result of the urban insurrection that began on 18 October 2019 - the constant Molotov and rock attacks - and this made 500 employees redundant. 80% of the buildings in Ground Zero are still dressed in this type of Heavy Metal facade. The graffiti on this building adorns President Boric's dress code for a Full Metal Jacket with a New Ground Zero postcode 1312 (the numbered alphabet of ACAB). Free the "political prisoners" screams this billboard with a Molotov illustration. President Boric is doing this very nicely, thank you very much, with or without the assistance of the re-reappropriated Banksy Flower Thrower. The Amnesty for crimes committed since 18 October 2019, as New Law, will accompany the New Sites of New Memory Law and the New Right to Protest Law with this probable cause and in these New clothes, as an informal uniform for former Student Protest Leaders.

Case Study # 26 War is Over. A sobering thought for arts activists anonymous.

In 21C, I find myself in a situation of Fluxus after the full rehearsal dressed in Yoko's and Monica’s female attire, adorned by scissors (1964) followed by Presidential semen stains (1997). In 2015, I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney to touched one of Ono’s framed breasts because “War Was Over” if I wanted it to be. It didn’t say which breast to touch or which war was over while the longest US war in history raged in Afghanistan and then was lost, abandoned to pre-modern history in 2021. An Afghan rug with the twin towers was exhibited in a contemprary art magazine for the silently salivating Leftovers, post 1989, still Left after Monica’s dress sold for 2 million at auction in 2001, an odyssey of some type, coinciding with the second 9/11. Case study #12 A Good Friday for the religion called Marxism. Material History

Since President Boric was elected in December 2021, this Friday was one of only three Fridays during which the traditional, now habitual, violence, destruction, assault, looting, and arson did not occur in Plaza Baquedano. It was a Good Friday for Marxism. The other two Marxist observed Fridays were Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
